The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Primary Care (PC) represents a field-based-, medical-, and customer focused role enabling peer-to-peer scientific interaction with external customers through individual contacts, educational events and medical projects. The MSL is an expert on Sanofi PC products and related diseases, and drives strategic partnerships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and other important healthcare stakeholders, developing their knowledge and providing solutions to support the appropriate use of Sanofi PC products. It is expected that around 80% of the working time of this full-time position is spent on customer contacts.
Medical- and scientific support (≈10% of working time)
Be the internal expert on assigned Sanofi PC products (including anti-coagulation, lipid-lowering, and analgesics), and related disease areas. Keep up-to-date through regular literature reviews and congress attendance.
Provide medical-scientific support to relevant Sanofi line functions, including Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, and Market Access.
Customer engagement (≈80% of working time)
Develop and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with relevant Key Opinion Leaders and scientific societies.
Provide education to HCPs on the clinical profile of assigned Sanofi PC products and related disease areas during face-to-face meetings, group presentations, advisory boards, and other appropriate venues and projects.
Clinical trials (≈10% of working time)
Facilitate and assist in the execution of investigator initiated trials.
Collaborate with the Clinical Studies Unit in the design and execution of Sanofi-sponsored clinical trials.
University degree in bio-medical sciences (e.g. medicine, pharmacy, biology).
Preferably ≥ 2 years in an MSL role in the pharmaceutical industry.
Fluent in German and English.
Proficient in French.
Driver’s license, willingness to travel extensively within Switzerland.
