Global Foundations is focused on delivering Commercial data across GBUs, enabling radical modernization of Sanofi Commercial data capabilities. The Program Manager is a member of the Digital Data Global Foundations team, directly reporting to the head of Global Foundations. She/He will oversee regional Commercial Projects, working closely with each project manager, product owner, organizing internal and external teams, vendors, resources as well as the financial aspects of all projects during their life cycle.

The Program Manager will:

  • Articulate the goals and objectives of the program and impact to the business.
  • Develop a standard approach to conduct data modernization in key markets, creating a “blueprint” to enable this strategy
  • Lead projects teams, to develop and execute a program plan, summarizing several aspects such as budget, planning, organization, quality, risks, vendor management and communication through all stakeholders.
  • Delivers solutions providing the expected business value, aligned with user requirements defined at the early phase of the projects.
  • Proactively proposes adaptations to the project plan to overcome difficulties or requirements changes.
  • Regularly reports on programs/projects progression to the appropriate audiences, highlighting key points of the activity, alerts, budget, timelines, updates and achievements.
  • Collaborate with the vertical Domain Partners and business management for the project’s execution and monitoring of the ongoing projects.
  • Define support model for the delivered solution and transition solution to the support organization.
  • Ensures Project Managers act agile methodology regarding all responsibilities and activities, to ensure guarantee program goals are achieved through continuous delivery and release management.
  • Provide good and clear communication based on standards provided, adapting them to each project
  • The program manger must possess strong communication skills and an experience in Data Architecture, Business Intelligence & Analytics domain.
  • Consolidating all pre-project activities like Internal Orders creation,
  • Provide assistance to the vertical Domain Partners and Procurement during the Initiation phase through the delivery of scoping assessments, resources estimations, project costing, proposal and statement of work generation and project team evaluation; also assisting with project quotations, RFP process, vendor selection and change requests throughout the project.
  • Contract management, Purchase Orders and Good Receipt management.
  • Map out and list the dependent projects that need to be completed to reach the overall program goal


  • The Program Manager will directly manage program execution from beginning to end, assigning tasks and responsibilities to appropriate project manager(s) and/or team members. S/He will coach and supervise project team members and oversee contractors/temporary workers and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
  • Also, s/he will be a key actor to build, develop and grow any business relationships vital for the success of the program.


  • Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects as per program objectives
  • Decide on suitable strategies and objectives
  • Coordinate cross-project activities
  • Lead and evaluate project managers and other staff
  • Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities
  • Apply change, risk and resource management
  • Assume responsibility for the program’s people and vendors
  • Assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI
  • Resolve projects’ higher scope issues
  • Prepare reports for program directors



  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer sciences or equivalent
  • PMP Preferred

Experience & knowledge:

  • 8+ years of working experience in Digital & Data Enterprise programs
  • Proven experience as a Program Manager
  • 3+ years’ experience in delivering solutions on Sales & Marketing Analytics area and/or Data Solutions
