JOB PURPOSE:

Drive market access strategy for China General Medicine portfolio

- Lead General Medicine Market Access team to deliver comprehersive market access strategy incl. Value &Access, pricing and Health Economics and outcome research  

- Work closely with business teams and global GenMed team to develop proudcts access strategy

- Define optimal integrated market access (incl. innovative scheme) strategy and plan

- Develop impactful value proposition & communication tools based on payers and patients’ needs

- Build strong parternship with external and internal stakeholders to ensure business sustainability

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Leads Genernal Medicine Market Access team to work closely with Chinese franchise,cross-functaional team, global and global franchise to optimize China Genernal Medicine patient access and business:

  • Work cross-functionally to deliver the insights and anticipant market access evolvement Market Access strategy aligned with clinical evidence, patient needs and commercial ambition
  • Create a fully integrated China market access and affordability strategy and optimizes profitable access and affordability for speciality care products
  • Lead the development of the payer value propositions for Genernal Medicine product and perform gap analyses in order to direct the development of Value Pack and Market Access toolkits in co-creation with the BU, Medcial , PA and Policy team
  • Develop and execute innovative solutions and dossiers to support reimbursement negotitation
  • Maintain stronge partnership with GMAx to maximize value offering to payers as well as best practice
  • Create long-range strategies and tactics to understand the evolution of access evidence needs and identify the appropriate capabilities and resources to address those needst forecast
  • Perform gaps assessments for local capacity and capabilities based on business opportunities and engage with internal stakeholders for resource allocations 
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team member including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunitie

JOB-HOLDER REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Public health, medical or health economics background
  • At least Master degree in medical, public health or health economics, PhD in such areas is preferred
  • At least 10 years of working experience in pharmaceutical or medical erea
  • Good knowledge of China health care system and global Market access trends

  • Good analytical skills
  • Problem solving and conflict management skills
  • Good Teamwork spirit & collaborative approach including how to be successful in a matrix environment
  • Strategic thinking and project management
  • Excellent communication skills
