The Associate Director of Digital Commerce Sales is responsible to grow digital sales and share in omnichannel retailers, with a specific focus on Walmart, Target, Costco, CVS, and Walgreens.This role is also responsible for the training and support of the NAMs responsible for these customers.You report directly to the Sr.Director of Digital Commerce Sales.
Your core responsibilities
·Align with the Head of Field Sales and the Sr. Director of Commerce Sales on organizational strategies and plans for eCommerce
·Development of an overall branded strategy and action plan for omnichannel retailers and Sanofi, with customization and application across Omni retailers
·Enable the Omnichannel partners to execute these strategies by collaborating and sharing best in class approaches with the National Account Managers for Walmart, Target, Costco, CVS, and Walgreens
·Engage with emerging Omni retailers in other channels, eg. grocery (Kroger) and Pureplay (boxed.com)
·Work with Operations Manager on the Digital Commerce Team to develop standardized reporting that allows tracking of digital commerce results at key Omni retailers
·Provide status reporting / critical KPIs on all Retailer partners
·Leverage your knowledge of eCommerce Media (AMG, WMG, Roundel, CVS CMX, Criteo, Kroger Precision Marketing) to provide guidance to NAMs on digital spending to supporttheir customer goals
·Enable the National Account Managers to deliver quota for Omni Retailers
·Collaborate with the NAM’s to drive clear alignment on the Category Business planning requirements to grow faster than the market
·Engage the Sales Strategy team to ensure that the category marketing strategies are focused on the Omni Retailers’ strategies for success
·Ensure Sanofi has robust category level Joint Business Plans with corresponding scorecards that represent mutually defined annual goals and achieve the sales fundamental goals of assortment, merchandising, pricing and shelf for digital
·Work directly with Omni media agencies/shopper agencies to enable the Omni-channel JBP’s for the top 5 retailers identified
·Develop operational plans, in coordination with Sr. Director of Commerce Sales, those drive sales faster than the category
·Engage with the digital operations team to ensure content is delivered, updated and loaded to meet retailer and brand timelines
·Collaborate with internal stakeholders on the Retail teams, Brand Teams, Analytics, Sales Strategy, Marketing to drive Retailer execution
These characteristics describe you
·4+ years Direct eCommerce experience across CPG. Hands-on experience with Amazon / Walmart / Target is required
·Deep knowledge and experience with eCommerce Media (AMG, WMG, Roundel, Criteo)
·3+ years’ experience with eCommerce platforms / tools (ex. Edge Ascential / Profitero / Digital Shelf Platform, Share Tools)
·Significant Excel Skills/data management experience along with scorecard across digital and omni-channel retailers
·Base knowledge of eCommerce Supply Chain with an understanding of how to drive operational excellence
·A great networker, you work across the industry to capture the knowledge of eCommerce content best practices and demonstrate an ability to be a liaison with the marketing content managers
·Through the experiences you have led Catalog management and demonstrated agility in Project Management
·A model of collaborative behavior and execution in delivering great programming for Sanofi’s brands at retail.
