Consumer Healthcare is becoming a standalone division within Sanofi in order to become a faster moving, consumer and customer centric business as part of project CHLOE (Consumer HealthCare Lead Optimize Empower). This business and IT transformation will entail a standalone ERP, Financial, Systems, Regulatory and People.
Global Digital Team. The team is charged with accelerating the shift to precision marketing and to e-commerce sales, scaling best-in-class data driven decision making tools, capturing new opportunities in the digital health space and uphauling disjointed commercial systems. This team leverages both dedicated expertise internally at Sanofi, and delivery and deployment partners. It builds products, runs service / outsourcing contracts, and develops centers of excellence in technology and digital.
IShift. IShift is the new generation of SAP S4/ HANA, with one common framework across Sanofi BUs and geographies replacing JDEdwards in the US, OEP and unity in all other geographies.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Thisposition reports to Head of Data Governance and Master Data in CHC business unit in Sanofi
A corner stone of CHC transformation in the coming years, the Master Data & Governance defines the strategy and operationalization of data practices to lead the change and transform internal practices.
Embody Sanofi transformation with regular communications, upskilling, and proactivity
The core objective of this role will be to implement Product Master Data strategy and processes partnering with various business groups.
The role requires a strong involvement in analyzing and improving architectures and reporting tools, gathering the voice-of-customer from the business, and execute the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
As Product Master Data Manager, you will partner with key business leaders in the organization to understand the key attributes of the products and various data sources.
Work closely with the business/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operations of the application meet all requirements.
Successful Product Master Data Manager must have excellent attention to detail and be capable of multi-tasking and adjust to changing priorities.
This position will function as the single point of contact in CHC business unit for the oversight and governance of Product Master data.
As part of this team the Product Master Manager will be working across different data projects, applications, and processes in order to ensure consistency and to get to one single source of truth for CHC referential/ product master data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Product Master Data Manager will be responsible of:
Migration of CHC Materials from Legacy on-premise environment to new cloud based environment.
Lead the Material Master Data Implementation project.
Create a Logical Data Structure for Material Master Data
Create an End-to-End Technology Landscape for Material Master Data
Manage vendors and contractors.
Ensure interfacing and connection across different data sources, to allow the generation of meaningful information (for instance, SAP vs IQVIA data, sell in vs sell out data, pharmacies data) from one single source of truth.
Integrate product masters with upstream and downstream systems.
Contribute to the multiple CHC project deployment and in particular the technical activation of Material Master data across geographies and functions.
Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.
Material Master Data Manager support the global Material Master Creation and Maintenance processes.
Understand the end-to-end data flow
Design, management, and cleaning of Material Master data.
Implements principles, policies, standards, and guidelines for data management inclusive of data access and sharing.
Reviews all data/data repositories on a periodic basis and ensures data is properly classified according to use, sensitivity, and importance and is maintained according to the predefined data lifecycle.
Audits security precautions to ensure adequate protection is in place.
Provides formal authorization for data access according to data governance processes defined at point-of-use
Documents the full Material data lineage of enterprise data assets to ensure compliance with contracts and data regulations
Develop and adhere to Material Master data modeling standards and best practices
Supports the solution architect to provide best solutions to meet project data needs
Identifies opportunities for data alignment and re-use while minimizing data redundancy
Supports ETL, data, business intelligence, advanced analytics architectures
Provides data architecture support and expertise to all major enterprise projects
Ensure that data is managed in compliance with applicable quality, regulatory (Data Privacy, GxP, SOX, etc.) and cybersecurity requirement
QUALIFICATIONS:
10 years or more experience in Digital, 5+ years’ experience in Master Data Managementand Data Governance
Experience of Master Data Management, preferably in FMCG
Experience in IICS and Informatica MDM, Semarchy, SAP MDG
Experience in Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud
Enterprise software deployment (design, build, integration, migration, go live, core model)
Agile ways of working and large projects phased delivery
Data & Business intelligence domain and software experience is a plus:
Experience of Interfacing heterogeneous systems and data sources
Working knowledge of Snowflake, DataBricks, Python/R, Tableau, Power BI
Working knowledge of Informatica, Layer 7 and Apigee
Working knowledge of procuring data from ERPs (SAP, JDE, etc.).

Bachelor's Degree
