The Director, Value & Access Digital Healthcare Solutions (DHC) will support the development of the US DHC value and access strategy and manage the execution for key projects, for Sanofi’s General Medicines Digital Healthcare solutions.  The role will support the Sr. Director of Value and Access, Digital Healthcare Solutions.  The role will be responsible for supporting the implementation of current and future launch strategy and execution plans to support broader DHC initiatives. The candidate will utilize project management expertise and managed markets or product marketing experience to lead key value and access (V&A) projects and strategy development.

The role will have a primary responsibility of leading broader DHC portfolio market access projects.  Including scoping work with vendor partners, executing purchase orders, working directly with Sanofi Market Research teams and procurement to properly execute primary research in an evolving space.  The secondary responsibilities include the support of broader tactical field needs by working directly with the two hybrid V&A directors and market access account team.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • The Director will bring strategic insight through constant evaluation of the digital health and market access marketplace to influence the broader DHC growth plan
    • Monitor the marketplace for market access issues, threats & opportunities
  • The Director will be responsible for driving delivery of the integrated delivery plan on an annual basis with quarterly reviews on progress.  The defined activities will be used to help achieve prioritized strategic goals
    • In driving delivery, the Director will develop and utilize a strong network of both internal partners and external vendors to achieve results
    • Partner effectively with V&A team, Marketing, Market Access, Medical, RWE, HEVA, Legal and Compliance to execute core deliverables
  • Support the Senior Director in representing the payer perspective within cross-functional, cross regional commercialization teams including HEOR, Pricing, Brand, Marketing, Communications, Policy/Advocacy, and Public Affairs
  • Support broader market access initiatives, including leading vendor relationships to support market access and broader DHC commercial activities
  • Support the broader Sanofi General Medicines DHC ambition through market shaping activities, including leading non-personal promotional strategy, conference development and positioning working closely with Hybrid V&A Directors

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS/MBA and 7+ years of relevant professional experience including at least four of the following areas or similar:  digital health, marketing, market access, project management, vendor management, budget management
  • 2+ years of experience working in product or payer marketing within a pharmaceutical/device/biotech company developing and gaining approvals on initiatives, partnering cross functionally and delivering approved promotional resources
  • Minimum 2 years of experience directly working with external vendor partners on primary/secondary research, strategy development and promotional materials
  • 2+ years of leading or directly supporting the development of strategic plans, including the development of slides and senior leadership presentations
  • 2+ years of product management experience; including identifying unmet needs, scoping project requirements, development, and execution on Gannt charts and clear communication with internal and/or external partners to ensure timely completion
  • Exhibits strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively write and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of executing within a matrixed environment to reach business objectives
  • 2+ years of alliance management experience
  • 3+ years working directly with US payers
  • 2+ years experience working directly within digital healthcare
  • 10+ years of diversified healthcare experience
  • Has had 3+ unique roles within healthcare industry
  • Demonstrated ability to take on highly complex business problems, recommend strategic and tactical solutions in a simple and straightforward manner
  • 2+ years working with legal, compliance, government affairs and communications in some capacity
  • 3+ years informally leading matrix teams
  • 2+ years direct people management
  • Ability to confidently make independent decisions
  • Intermediate level of excel modeling and power point slide development
  • Travel: Approximately 20%

The successful candidate will be required to sign and execute a restricted covenant upon hire.

Candidates must complete all fleet safety training and must maintain an acceptable driving record regarding accidents and incidents.
