Our Team:

The Head of Commercial Finance Performance is responsible to drive commercial success of $1.6 billion OTC sales by analyzing financial information, challenging customer teams, and optimizing customer P&Ls.  

Main responsibilities:


KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Strategic Business Partner to Commercial Team

  • Facilitate strategic decision-making through finance expertise and collaboration with commercial teams.
  • Act as a financial consultant, providing insights and driving decision-making processes.
  • Define sales strategy and own customer profitability, focusing on gross-to-net investment tracking.
  • Drive understanding and improvement in customer financial performance.
  • Collaborate across functions, manage and enhance commercial policies, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
  • Lead the review of business plans and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Drive integrated business planning and ensure alignment with Marketing for realistic and accurate forecasts.
  • Improve forecasting by analyzing sales, tracking variances, and providing insights.

Manage Financial Closing and Sales Reporting

  • Coordinate with Customer Invoice to Cash (CI2C) and Sales teams to record accruals accurately for trade, special events, discounts, returns, and other gross-to-net elements.
  • Own the preparation and presentation of clear financial performance reports, including comprehensive analysis of customer performance.
  • Develop and enhance financial tools, prioritizing the needs of sales teams.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control and financial principles.
  • Co-own and support the success of organizational DEI initiatives.
  • Additional responsibilities as delegated by the CHC NA, Head of Financial Performance.

KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Manage through Influence:

  • Commercial teams, including Sales & Revenue Growth Management (RGM) 
  • Supply Chain teams
  • GBS Teams, including Customer-Invoice-to-Cash and Source-to-Pay teams
  • Country Business teams (HR, Procurement)
  • Other FP&A stakeholders at zone, regional and global levels

KEY DIMENSIONS

  • Sales, Demand Forecasting, Gross-to-Net, Customer P&L, Sales Force support

About you

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or economics.

  • Minimum of 10 years’ finance experience, including at least 5 years in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.

  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects concurrently with transversal work experience.

  • Extensive knowledge of commercial policies and customer P&L dynamics.

  • Demonstrated competence in driving change and supporting business decisions through technical and analytical expertise.

  • Autonomy, hands-on approach, and strong communication skills are essential.

  • Experience in financial analysis, business partnering, or similar roles.

  • Proficient in financial and accounting software, Microsoft Excel; Power BI and database management skills are a plus.

  • Strong data interpretation and presentation skills.

  • English fluency.
