You will be supported by a Biostatistics and Programming Department that fosters people development, offering compelling career opportunities that value diversity of thought and abilities, to optimize overall success and have a meaningful impact on patients’ lives.

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide statistical technical or simulations support for realization of advanced innovative designs or statistical tool of novel methodology, with general direction of a senior team member in Statistical Innovation Hub.

  • Contribute to the project stat deliverables of methodology and/or simulations that are included in the protocol or statistical analysis plan or agency briefing books with general guidance from a senior team member.

  • Support a specific project that involves advanced innovative designs or complex statistical simulations or novel statistical approach as a project statistician under general guidance from a senior statistician.

  • Research on novel statistical methods or advanced innovative design approaches with minimal guidance or direction from a senior team member. Provide statistical consultations on innovative methods or advanced innovative designs as needed with general direction of a senior team member.

  • Promote and present the implementation of cutting-edge designs and methods at internal and external venues and provide internal trainings as necessary. Ensure productive collaborations with other key stakeholder, promoting team work, quality, operational efficiency and innovation.


  • Remote or can be located in Bridgewater (NJ, US), Cambridge (MA, US), Chilly Mazarin/ Paris/ Montpellier (France) or Frankfurt (Germany)

  • 100% Remote working possible and minimal travel expected

About you

  • Experience: 2 years or more of post-graduate experience in relevant areas

  • Soft skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Potential ability to represent Sanofi in cross-company activities such a consortiums or professional associations.

  • Technical skills: Broad knowledge and good understanding of advanced statistical concepts and techniques, with the capability to quickly acquire knowledge in new statistical frontiers. Proven track record of independent methodology research capability is a plus. Excellent R/SAS programming skills. Strong computational skill or knowledge in other computer languages or extensive statistical simulations experience is a plus.

  • Education: PhD in Statistics or related discipline, or MS in Statistics or related discipline with solid statistical methodology potential

  • Languages: Proficient in written and spoken English
