As the Synvisc Marketing Lead, you are an experienced, results-oriented, strategic marketer to join our diverse and dedicated team.   You have a passion for marketing strategy and a proven track record of excellence in operational execution including omnichannel customer engagement.  You have a track record of driving innovative brand strategies across both physician and consumer segments to boost top-line revenue impact and bottom-line efficiency. You are an influential partner who will work cross functionally to ensure strong strategic and executional alignment to the brand strategy. 

The Team:

This role is on the Synvisc Marketing Lead reports to the Synvisc Commercial Lead. You will be a key member of a fast paced, entrepreneurial team environment where you are empowered to make decisions and guide strategy.  As part of the Synvisc team you will help lead sales growth for a category leader with strong performance in 2021 and significant future upside.  With this experience Foundation will be your Play To Win accelerator, career booster and development platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Synvisc Customer Activation through ownership of the brand marketing strategy.  Determine optimal customer segments, top growth opportunities and an omnichannel plan to deliver optimized messaging.

  • Lead the continuous refinement of the brand positioning, messaging and creative based on latest in-market impact and insights.  Lead the design, development and delivery of the core sales aid which serves as the foundation for messaging throughout all HCP channels.

  • Oversee development of omnichannel plans and tactics, ensuring tactical priorities are aligned to overall brand strategy, grounded in latest customer insights, underpinned by omnichannel best practices and continuously and rigorously measured to optimize impact. 

  • Work collaboratively with medical, legal, and regulatory in promotional review committee (RC) to develop and execute high impact marketing materials across different channels in support of Synvisc strategy

  • Conduct market diagnostics, monitor competitors and customer´s behavior, aiming to continuously capture the market trends to identify opportunities.

  • Serve as a point of contact with external agencies/partners, including budget management

  • Support sales force training initiatives, including POA strategy and planning

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 10+ years commercial experience

  • 5-10 years in marketing with increasing levels of responsibility

  • Proficiency in brand strategy, sales strategy, and omnichannel engagement

  • Courageous leader with an inspiring change agent mindset who is willing to challenge the status quo and align others to help drive business transformation

  • Executive communication skills, ability to communicate to audiences of varied sizes and levels, both US and global

  • Relationship builder with strong track record of execution working with cross-functional teams comprised of: Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Trade, Medical Affairs, Forecasting, Legal, Business Operations, Supply Chain and Customer Support, etc.

  • People management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in both marketing and a sales related function (sales strategy, field sales leadership)

  • Experience with Buy & Build business model and operational requirements to succeed

  • Strong financial acumen and general manager skillset

  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree

The Fine Print:

  • Approximately 10%-20% travel for Customer meetings and Tradeshows.
