Business Unit Head - Oncology


Within the framework of global business strategy and its high compliance standards, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of long term strategy for the Sanofi Genzyme Oncology Business Unit. In this role, you will be able to utilize your performance-oriented approach

and synthesizing/analytical skills as well as interpersonal and communication skills.


In addition to therapeutic areas affecting millions of people, we consider it important to find solutions for rare diseases affecting only a very small portion of the population. One of the leading biotechnology companies in the world, Genzyme joined the Sanofi Group in 2011, expanding our Company’s oncology and immunology portfolio and therapies for rare diseases and multiple sclerosis.


  • Monitor and understand market dynamics relevant for the products, forecast trends at the market

  • Leading of KAMs and Product Managers

  • Define strategic goals (positioning, success factors), develop relevant tactical plans/campaign plans, measure progress

  • Provide necessary expertise and tools to enable sales of the product

  • Design and organize marketing projects to support agreed marketing strategy incl. communication plan (clear key features, benefits. claims and patient profile)

  • Develop printed and electronic promotional material including testing, product training and relevant clinical papers

  • Product launch and life cycle management

  • Development and management of key national and international KOLs in oncology


  • University degree

  • 6-8 years relevant experience at pharmaceutical company

  • Experience in the field of oncology, countrywide

  • Fluent English, Hungarian is a must

  • User level computer skills (Word, Excel)

  • Driving license, category “B”


  • Medical doctor degree

  • Experience in Oncology Product Manager position or Business Unit Head
