About the role

At Sanofi we are bringing together Data Analysts to propel Sanofi into its digital transformation by deploying Artificial Intelligence throughout its business. Data Analysis is being driven from an inspiring digital organization with a core mission of data & analytics to drive business insights, to engage with customers and employees, to automate business processes, and to maximize patient impact.

We are the Organizational Capabilities & Transformation team, one of the teams that compose the Digital Transformation team in Sanofi Digital. We made the bold decision to treat “Transformation” as a product and deliver it in the most Agile possible way. This implies in a lot of learning, pivoting, experimenting… and having fun! This product has several features such as “learning”, “culture change”, “change management”, etc.

To support the agile journey of the team, the Digital Transformation team wants to take Data-driven decision making to the next level! As a Data Analyst within the Digital Transformation team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on projects focused on people transformation such as skills, culture, and ways of working and support the creation of the workforce of the future within Sanofi Digital so that we can halve the time from discovery to therapy.

As a Data Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work on two assignments based in Budapest (Hungary). Sanofi made Budapest one of its Global Hubs. This location is growing, and it has a dynamic, young environment with more than 40 different nationalities. It’s the place to be!

Main responsibilities as Global Digital Transformation Data Analyst:

  • Work with diverse global business stakeholders to understand requirements for data use, analysis, and quality

  • Manage business requirements collection, analysis, and documentation processes to capture business and end user needs. Prioritize needs within and across projects based on business impact

  • Define, set up, and execute test cases to validate that the solution meets functional and non-functional requirements

  • Ensure that data is managed / analyzed in compliance with applicable quality, regulatory (Data Privacy, GxP, SOX, etc.) and cybersecurity requirements. This is very important as you will be working with people-related data

  • Identify and aggregate data from internal and external sources

  • Identify new opportunities to leverage data and to integrate data or applications to enhance business value

  • Coordinate with data owners to ensure data accessibility and quality.

  • Collaborate closely with the Digital Transformation Data Scientist to deliver Digital Transformation Analytics & Insights

  • Partner with all Digital Transformation stakeholders to share valuable data insights.

  • Build a strong collaboration with the Global Digital Data teams to leverage usage of shared data platforms, data foundations & best practices.

About you :

  • Master’s degree in data science, Analytics, Human Resources, or a related field

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience

  • Familiarity with statistical analysis, data manipulation, and data visualization techniques

  • Strong understanding of people analytics principles and methodologies

  • Knowledge of manipulation and analysis using tools such as Python, R, or SQL

  • Experience with data visualization tools, especially Power BI.

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, business analysis, data visualization and data storytelling skills

  • English is a must, French would be a plus
