Global A2R Fixed Assets Tool Administrator (IFRS16)

Sanofi Business Services (SBS) has a captive shared service centre in Budapest to provide end to end services to Europe and North America covering the following areas of the Account to Report (A2R) process:

•      Assets Management

•      Tax and Interco accounting

•      Cash accounting

•      Closing and reporting and

•      Master data

In addition, the Budapest Shared Service Centre host a number of global roles or Centres of Excellence (CoE) to provide support and other services globally.


The purpose of this Administrator role is to provide Level 2 administrative and technical support relating to IFRS16 Tool (Actually Nakisa):

  • For countries in project mode, support the rollout of any new solution or improvement of actual solution,
  • For countries in run mode, support for end-users requests/incidences.
  • Scope: IFRS16 tool (actually Nakisa) is our Global solution to manage IFRS16 accounting calculation globally

This role will also:

  • Support A2R GPL Fixed assets on process simplification and automation
  • Be the IFRS16 accounting tool system administrator
  • Be the main point of contact for IFRS16 tool accounting topic in collaboration with other Group department. This will also include perform tool training when needed
  • Participate to continuous improvement initiatives

The A2R Global IFRS16 tool Administrator is a process and tool Expert, reporting to the A2R GPL Fixed assets. He/she works closely with A2R country teams, Global A2R GPO team, ITS, Project Managers (internal, external), and provider.


  • IFRS16 Tool management:
    • System configuration (Nakisa actually) and jobs in Test & Production, in line with Core Model
    • Set up master data files, collect data required from Business and integrate in system in Test & Production
    • Quality check data loaded in Test & Production
    • Support Business PM on trainings of the solution to end users
    • Support ITS on the System Integration Testing
    • Participate to the User Acceptance Tests, and resolve technical issues when appearing during the session
    • Drive/perform issue resolution open issues during UAT
    • Provide post go-live support in hypercare (Participate during the Daily calls, issues resolution, end-users support).
    • ensure smooth future rollouts or upgrades in project scope
    • Case Management:
      • Change Request Management -user access management, master data management, etc.
      • Incident management –evaluation, issue solving, escalation to L3-ITS, liaising with users.
    • System jobs monitoring
    • Support local teams with their queries (ticketing tool or in project mode through generic email)
    • Provide refreshers sessions to end-users in case required
    • Maintain internal documentation


  • Graduate degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience, accounting background required (essential)
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end Account to Report (A2R) processes (essential)
  • Knowledge of GL accounting and reporting, with a focus on Fixed assets and IFRS16 (essential)
  • Experience with software implementation and improvement (advantageous)
  • Strong problem solving, deductive and analytical skills (essential)
  • Fluent in English (essential)
