Our Team
This position “Project Methodology Manager” is part of Sanofi Business Services (SBS), within Programs Management organization and reporting to Strategic PMO.
SBS Programs Management is the team managing Sanofi and SBS projects to deliver the strategic roadmap both now and for the future.
About the opportunity
This role will manage the project methodology within SBS and will be in charge to skill up projects managers on all the projects we are supporting within and beyond SBS.
About growing with us – in this role you will
- Accountable for a “best-in-class” project management methodology in scope (e.g. M&A&D, hub services development, transition, business case)
- Owns and drives the ongoing improvement of the project management methodology within SBS with lessons learnt, ensuring adherence to the standard processes / tools and global governance.
- Ensures methodology meets all applicable internal controls and that all required project documentation is completed and maintained in an audit-ready state.
- Identifies the training, coaching, up-skilling needs in collaboration with the Regional Hub leaders and manages the needful to project managers across the organization
- Reinforces business case methodology and valuation to ensure project go/no go decision process and ability to follow projects benefits realizations.
- Provides extensive support in methodology for projects under Programs Management umbrella through a consultative/expert approach.
About you
- Experience:
- 10+ years’ experience in project management disciplines.
- 5+ years of business case development experience with a proven track record of delivering quantifiable financial results
- A high degree of financial acumen including knowledge and experience with the annual budget planning cycle
- Demonstrated understanding of project management methodologies, and experience leading & applying their principles and governance processes to projects
- Soft skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication & inter-personal skills
- Self-starter, initiative-taker
- Establish and maintain strong relationships, working effectively with all levels in the organization
- Structured and well-organized
- Dynamic with a strong sense of execution
- Efficient analytical skills; attention to detail, and diligence in following up on multiple concurrent items in various stages of completion
- Ability to develop high-quality presentations
- Technical skills:
- Programs, Project Management certification (e.g. MSP, PMP)
- Knowledge of LEAN/Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies – Certifications in these areas a plus
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a business or project management related field
- Languages: Fluent in English
