Medical Manager Hungary (Sanofi Pasteur)


As the Medical Manager in Hungary, you will be accountable for developing, implementing and executing the local medical vaccines strategy and operatational plan in cooperation with the other Sanofi Pasteur functions in Hungary and as a part of the Hungarian brand plans.  As a strategic and operational partner, you will contribute to brand plan development and execution, sincluding customer facing in Hungary. In this role, you will be able to leverage your strategic thinking and influencing skills.


Our Company’s Vaccines business line, Sanofi Pasteur, is committed to prevention through vaccination. We aim to provide protection against communicable diseases by developing safe and effective vaccines.

Sanofi offers vaccines against nearly 20 types of communicable diseases and diseases caused by bacteria or viruses, manufacturing more than 1 billion doses of vaccines every year to allow for the vaccination of over 500 million people around the world.

Under Hungary’s mandatory vaccination schedule, almost half a million two hundred thousand children receive our combined vaccine for diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis and polio every year.

We also assign priority to fighting the flu, helping hundreds of thousands of people with prevention year by year.


  • Ensure scientific monitoring and expertise on company vaccines and diseases.
  • Constantly monitor medical and epidemiological data and provide scientific information and advice to the other functions to support strategic planning and priorities, including scientific competitive intelligence.
  • Contribute in defining brand strategy and roll-out of plans
  • Ensure adequate scientific development and engagement of stakeholders according to the agreed Country Medical Roadmap and Engagement plan.
  • Provide disease and product knowledge training to sales force through formalized training support and sessions aimed at maximizing sales force knowledge.
  • Identify needs and opportunities of clinical studies (global, local, medical) in the area of expertise according to strategy
  • As part of the Country Medical Roadmap develop and propose local Data Generation, Communication and Publication Plans
  • Give expertise to the Clinical Operations Team in finding appropriate investigators, developing and reviewing study protocols and CRFs according to need.
  • Give scientific advice/support to the Clinical Operations Team during the course of a study
  • Provide product scientific expertise to Regulatory Affairs Department for registration support, labelling changes, or when requested by health authorities. Provide scientific expertise in the preparation of reimbursement dossiers, or inscriptions into drug lists/formularies.
  • Take full responsibility for ensuring that corporate ethical standards, facilitating access to training and information, enabling a culture of ethical leadership and ensuring there are no compliance breaches through intent or misunderstandings/lack of knowledge


  • University degree in Life Sciences (preferably MD or PharmD)
  • Min. 5 years of relevant experience at a pharmaceutical compny
  • Fluent English
  • Hungarian is a must
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with all teams (local and global)
  • Openness to new experiences and agility to learn
  • Evidence generation (incl. RWE)
