Reporting to the Head of Finance, Global Oncology, the Finance Business Partner, Global Oncology supports all financial matters for the Global Commercial Organization and coordination throughout the entire P&L and Value Chain (Research & Development, Industrial & Supply and Commercial).
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Finance voice of the Global Franchise and effectively interacts with the Countries, Industrial Affairs, Supply Chain and R&D, while supporting the Oncology Franchise Leadership team
Countries/Regions (Strategy Plans, Business Cases, Performance reviews, Quarterly landing)
R&D and Medical (Clinical Studies, Portfolio Review, Integrated P&Ls)
Responsible for the Franchise Global Controlling & Reporting Process including P&L, Headcount and Investments and Resource Allocation during the monthly closing, internal investors relations updates, forecast, budget and strategic planning processes. Work closely with the CoE to improve ways of working and foster efficiencies.
Performance Management: Prepare financial performance reports and commentary linked to business and market performance and present results at Finance LT, Oncology LT, proactively identifying Risks and Opportunities and providing recommendation to achieve targets
Launch Excellence Finance: Support the franchise throughout the launches of new products and indications, provide financial expertise, governance, and launch execution monitoring
Support the Global Long Range Strategic Planning Process for the respective Franchise including key full P&L for launch products, investments (External Partners, Infrastructure, Commercial Operations, RD&/IA Interface) and Lead Interaction with the Sanofi Group Strategy and Finance Leadership Team.
Support the preparation of strategic investment projects and analysis required by Sanofi Group and Sanofi Genzyme Leadership team, and represent Finance in Strategic projects as needed.
External Alliance: work closely with the Finance Business Partner Regeneron Alliances in order to Support the Budget, Planning and actual closing process for the Alliance and any other ad-hoc requests
Bachelor’s degree required.
Master’s Degree in Finance, Master in Science or MBA, highly preferred
A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Finance with direct experience in Business Partnering
Experience managing full P&L and/or global investments and projects preferred
OTHER SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Ability to interact at the Executive Committee level in combination with operational level and externally with key partners
Proven finance and controlling track record in a launch setting
Ability to work transversally and in a matrix organization
Ability to model P&L on a short and long term basis
Finance business development skills: NPV, deals valuation
Additional Competencies: strong business acumen, strategic thinking, excellent communication skills
