The Immunology and Inflammation Research Department in Sanofi is building a world-class immunology team to develop novel therapies for autoimmunity, inflammatory and allergic diseases. We are seeking a scientist to hunt for new drugs in our autoimmunity and type 1 diabetes cluster. The candidate will collaborate with technology platforms across Sanofi and push forward autoimmunity drug discovery projects from target identification to early clinical development. 

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and validate therapeutic targets for autoimmune diseases

• Develop and perform cellular immunology assays for lead discovery and optimization

• Identify and develop biomarkers for drug candidates

• Analyze, interpret and communicate data within the team regularly

• Prepare publications and regulatory documentation in accordance with Sanofi quality standards

Essential Qualifications:

• BS, MS, or equivalent degrees with >3 years of experience in T cell or B cell research, preferably in industry

• Experience with cellular immunology studies

• Strong expertise in flow cytometry

• Excellent interpersonal and team skills

• Strong written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with autoimmunity research is highly desirable

• Experience with biological drug discovery is highly desirable
