iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

We are looking for a candidate for a VIE mission of:

Pharmacovigilance Officer - VIE Contract (W/M)

Target start date: 1/06/2024

Responsibilities:

  • Performing Pharmacovigilance (PV) activities in Sanofi Belgium in accordance with local legislation and company guidelines. This includes activities for Luxembourg.
  • Contributing to the overall success of Sanofi by establishing and sharing within the company a good knowledge of PV, including legal and company requirements, and to contribute to the maintenance of good customer relations.
  • Obtaining and maintaining thorough knowledge of company procedures and legal requirements regarding Pharmacovigilance, as well as having a good knowledge of the PV aspects of the company portfolio.
  • Handling of Individual Case Safety Reports and Periodic Reports according to local legislation and company Quality Documents (QDs).
  • Providing relevant safety information to Health Authorities (HA), internal stakeholders and external parties.
  • Upon agreement support the Country Safety Head (CSH) in local safety surveillance activities, safety issues, risk management activities, product alerts, patient support programs and market research programs throughout the affiliate. Inform Global Pharmacovigilance  and Health Authorities about safety issues in accordance with local legislation and company QDs.
  • Training of employees in PV relevant processes applicable for their function.
  • Collaborating with applicable third parties within PV area.
  • Actively supporting corporate policies, values and initiatives and comply with all Sanofi HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) Corporate Policy & Requirements.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Pharmacy, Medicine or equivalent.
  • Work experience from pharmaceutical industry or equivalent, preferably within pharmacovigilance or corresponding areas, is an asset.
  • Fluent in English; Fluent in French or Dutch would be a strong asset
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong skills in planning and prioritization
  • Awareness of need for accuracy
  • Strong communication skills with health-care professionals, patients, and colleagues
  • Strong interpersonal skills and cooperates well with colleagues
  • Team player
