Acting in a virtual plant role we find ourselves in an interface position between Sanofi affiliate / DRP Hubs and our External Production Sites (CMOs). Our production portfolio covers the full range of CHC categories such as Digestive Wellness; Cough, Cold & Flu; Vitamins etc.

In your role as External Supply Manager you are Sanofi’s voice towards the CMO for all Supply Chain related topics and communicate CMO’s production schedule and other supply chain topics towards Sanofi affiliates and DRP Hubs. Within the EM CHC Frankfurt matrix organization with Quality, Project Management, Purchasing & Finance you represent Supply Chain Management.

Main responsibilities

• Monthly preparation and submission of “Supplier Planning File” and integration of CMO feedback into Sanofi planning system

• Monitor & manage supply performance of CMO in accordance with several EM CHC service level agreements

• Support product launches, transfers, artwork chances to ensure timely continuous supply

• Manage & communicate allocation decisions in case of bottlenecks acc. to Sanofi’s priorities

• Ensure supply from CMO in acc. with GxP requirements & implementation of Sanofi supply chain requirements at CMO

• Contribute to regular quarter landing, budget, strat plan report preparation

About you

Education and professional expierence

• Graduated from University in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or equivalent and/or significant professional experience within Supply Chain Management

• Good knowledge in MS Office (especially MS Excel). Knowledge in SAP MM and/or Kinaxis Rapid Response is a plus

Soft skills

• Ability to work independently and take decisions within a given framework

• Analytical and conceptual strength

• Excellent communication skills

Language skills

• Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory, German knowledge is a plus
