Global Digital Team. The team is charged with accelerating the shift to data driven marketing and to e-commerce sales, scaling best-in-class data driven decision making tools, capturing new opportunities in the digital health space and uphauling disjointed commercial and scientific systems. This team leverages both dedicated expertise internally at Sanofi, and delivery and deployment partners. It builds products, runs service / outsourcing contracts, and develops centers of excellence in technology and digital.
Responding to the Head of CHC Digital, the Science Products Owner will be the technology partner for the entire scientific affairs community within CHC (~1000 people).
As part of his / her responsibility, the Science Products Owner, will have to define hand in hand with the Science Hub the digital strategy, roadmap and technology design. He/she will be responsible for prioritizing the main initiatives and delivering workable products with internal and external partners, that delivers business value, every sprint.
The Product Owner will partner with the CHC Science Hub into a multi-year science transformation, encompassing multiple elements where technology will be a key success factor.
Tech partner for the entire Science community within CHC (~1000 people).
Support in the definition of the science digital strategy, roadmap, tech design and prioritization on main initiatives based on business value.
Own the technology frame, design and delivery supervision of multiple projects related to pharmacovigilance, events management and compliance adjustments, also in the context of CHC shift from Veeva CRM to Salesforce.
Reinforce the core with CHC innovation pipeline, owning IRIS technology improvements, a CHC-tailored Planisware innovation and pipeline management tool, driven and optimized by a broad set of data (finance, HR, etc.) and resulting in data visualization (currently in Qlik, lift-shift-uphaul is foreseen using Snowflake, Data Bricks and PowerBI). IRISV1 is in place, IRISV2 is currently in development, a limited number of Qlik reports are in production.
Responsible for extending the use of data for CHC in innovation, pharmacovigilance, product lifecycle and compliance through Snowflake and PowerBI and bridges applications for CHC.
Owns the “Product” from a “What” and “Why” perspective (accountable for vision and requirements) for their specified product, or component (if multiple delivery teams involved in solution delivery).
Is accountable for delivering incremental value every sprint, aligning with the overall goals from the business.
Can negotiate Yes/No with the Business and/or the Digital Towers.
Works closely and owns relationship with Customer Experience.
When appropriate, works with scrum master and engineering delivery team daily, answering questions, addressing ambiguities, and being readily available when issues arise that could delay the project.
Owns backlog prioritization of work.
Creates requirements and Jira stories.
Keeps the vision of the product up to date.
Owns of roadmap and sprint priorities.
Ensures follow up and reporting of KPI.
Ensures that Digital Product/computerized system meets all controls to address applicable quality, regulatory (Data Privacy, GxP, SOX, etc.) and cybersecurity requirements.

Fluent in English
8+ years Technology strategisation, Business Intelligence or Digital Product Ownership experience
Experience in data and tech solutions in FMCG or life science sectors focusing on the scientific domains (innovation, medical, regulatory)
Experience technology design and strategisation with business partners
Enterprise software deployment (design, build, integration, migration, go live, core model) is a strong plus
Agile ways of working and large projects phased delivery
Experience of Interfacing heterogeneous systems and data sources is a plus
Working knowledge of Snowflake, DataBricks, Python/R encapsulation, Tableau, Power BI
Working knowledge of Informatica, Layer 7 and Apigee
Working knowledge of procuring data from ERPs (SAP, JDE, etc.).
Software house contracting
Post COVID: Ability to travel up to, and potentially in excess of, 20% of the time, including some weekends and hold valid international passport
