About the job

This person will play an integral part in strategically supporting the strong growth ambitions of the Sanofi Vaccines business in Vietnam, coordinating predominantly among Key Account Management (KAM), Sales, Marketing, Medical, Regulatory Affairs and Public Affairs in order to support the pro-active, professional servicing of our customers, in particular but not limited to our strongly growing key accounts.

This role will work as a team contributor as well as owning individual projects to supports organization to gather, analyse, organize information and turn qualitative and quantitative data into meaningful insights which is instrumental in strengthening Sanofi Vietnam understanding of our patients’ needs; and will enhance the decision-making process of BU management team, marketing and sales/KAM.

He/she tracks industry and competitive trends, customers insights, develops forecasting models and scenario analyses, examines strategic performance, spots emerging market opportunities, identifies business threats, looks for novel strategic solutions, and develops creative action plans. Strategic planning involves understanding what the organization’s current strategy is, what has been tried in the past and also what it will be in the future.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Regularly tracks industry information, competitive trends, customers insights and to convert qualitative & quantitative data into a comprehensive and insightful story to support management and KAM/sales and Marketing teams to make the appropriate business decision and forecasting.
  • Provides updates & strategic managerial recommendations, reviews and analyses the performance of the accounts by performing data analysis and preparing reports.
  • To assist with the design and implementation of BUs’ KPI measurement & reports.
  • To conduct relevant market research and surveys, leveraging external & internal resources
  • To support marketing & business unit management in developing robust forecasting models, scenario analysis and business cases.
  • To provide ad hoc analysis, coordinate & support carrying out special projects when required.
  • Regularly acts as project lead (PMO) and leads / coordinates cross-functional projects.
  • Works closely with the General Manager for business presentations and related executive business needs.

CONTACT WITH OTHERS:

Owns no direct report, but high level of interaction and project-related team lead with:

  • GM, Head of Marketing, Head of Sales/ KAM-team, Public Affairs
  • Brand team, Sales Team, SFE, Finance, Medical, Compliance, Legal, Purchasing.
  • Regional Management team and Global functions (project-based)
  • External: KOLs/ HCP, Suppliers, agencies

About you

BACKGROUND (EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE)

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance (or similar with proven track record)
  • Experience: 3 years+ related experience in business analysis, strategic planning, market research, business development or marketing; consultant experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis, market research, forecasting, statistical reporting, database management, customer insights.
  • Experience within healthcare industry is a plus.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Strategic mindset but ready to deep-dive into any topic where necessary, strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, formulas, etc...)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; presentation skills incl. strong presentation preparation in PowerPoint
  • Strong working skills in Vietnamese and English, both verbally and written.
  • Attitudes: truly enjoy being an “allrounder” with a strong learning agility, “can-do” attitude and “hungry for more”, no 9-5 / routine-job attitude, supportive, collaborative, strong work ethics & very high sense of accountability/ownership
  • Limited travel needed (selected customer visits, quarterly sales cycle meetings)
