New Product Portfolio and Existing Business Portfolio Expansion:
By identifying and evaluating the opportunity through Market analysis.
Developing and executing plans while working with cross-functional internal & external partners.
Key Regional Interface for Evaluation of all NPL/BD Opportunities.
Lead all Local NPL/Business Development Projects.
Monitor the industry developments and competitive landscape, identify key trends and developments regularly.
Maintain cross-functional coordination.
Develop Work-stream based on appropriate expertise within the organization for different projects when necessary.
Identification of new opportunities and screening.
Perform need-based assessments and market surveys to gather preliminary data for new molecules.
Conduct regular New Product Launch committee monthly meeting for Projects validation.
Screening and Valuing of Brand / Corporate M&A activities.
Develop Business Cases for In-licensing.
Define appropriate type of partnership for each viable opportunity.
Structure out-licensing / Out-sourcing deals.
Pipeline gaps that need to be filled in the core and Strategic Therapeutic areas through Rx in-licensing and co-marketing/co-promotion.
High Priority Life Cycle Management opportunities and development of line extensions; new formulations and combinations.
Prepare the departmental budget, pipeline tracking & reporting, forecasts and monitoring post launch revenue objectives.
Opportunities to enhance growth in GEM RX portfolio business / Tail products through Out-licensing / Out-sourcing deals.
Development of OTC and generics Portfolio through acquisition of brands and/or companies.
Commercialization of the acquired portfolio in the local Market.
Entry opportunities into new segments and channels of the Market through Partnerships and / or Mergers and acquisitions.

University Degree (Medical / Pharmacy / Business / Science).
Master’s degree (MBA – added advantage).
On-Job certifications (is a plus).
At least 5 years of experience in Licensing, Business Development, Project Management or related field in a pharmaceutical company.
Understanding of commercial and technical specificities.
