Our Team:

The Central and Eastern Europe P&C Team plays a critical role in implementing People & culture strategies aligned with our organizations’ objectives. The team is composed of 6 people located in theCentral Eastern Europe Zone : Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Ukraine. This People Business Partner will be responsible for developing and retaining top talents by supporting and creating and engaging work culture.

Main responsibilities:

  • Translating the business strategy of these countries into a clear and appealing people agenda.
  • Providing strategic HR advice to Country Heads, business leaders and zone-based populations.
  • Driving specific people approaches to address the business needs and challenges.
  • Leading the local social agenda(s).
  • Managing the third party providers who support the HR functions.

People & Culture Strategy:

  • Strategic vision: Crafting and executing a robust HR strategy, aligning with our business objectives. Drive targeted initiatives to meet the unique needs of diverse teams.
  • Global Impact: Contributing to the deployment of our global HR roadmap and initiatives across countries.
  • Collaborative Partnership: Cultivating strong relationships with business leaders across functions. Be their trusted advisor, guiding decisions on people- and organization-related matters.
  • Transversal Leadership: Serving as the local point of contact, coordinating common processes at the national level and supporting the zone head.
  • Culture Catalyst: Infusing a consumer-centric culture within the company, fostering engagement and purpose.

People and Organizational Development:

  • Talent Magnet: Driving local talent identification with the recruitment team and ensuring a solid succession planning within the company. Fostering cross-business unit and cross-functional mobility, leveraging the Sanofi group approach.
  • Change Champion: Building critical competencies by initiating and coordinating change initiatives related to cultural transformation, leadership, and management.
  • Agile Navigator: Managing organizational changes with finesse.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring processes adhere to local regulations.
  • Collaboration Maven: Proactively collaborating with the HR community, ensuring consistency of activities and initiatives across the zone.

About you 

Experience:

  • Global experience in HR within multinational FMCG or pharma organisations, coupled with exposure to diverse cultures.
  • Holistic expertise through a well-rounded background and experience in leadership development, career consulting, compensation, employee relations, culture transformation and change management.
  • A strategic partner with strong business acumen and adept thinking to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • An openness to change and agility in navigating dynamic environments.
  • Strong coaching skills and the ability to guide and mentor others.
  • A change catalyst with a proficiency in change management.
  • Skillful prioritization skills to manage competing demands.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to make informed choices.
  • Strong analytical skills to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and consulting abilities.

Education: a degree or equivalent experience in HR or Business Administration

Languages: strong verbal and written communication in English and Ukrainian. Romanian language would be a big plus.
