JOB PURPOSE

  • The Head of Financial Performance monitors the overall financial operational performance at Site including warehouse. Contributes to strategic/business development by providing accurate, effective & reliable financial information & controls. He/she ensures compliance with Group controlling guidelines and procedures.

  • The incumbent acts as a business partner and advises senior management on relevant actions to put in place to improve performance & meet financial objectives
  • He/She is accountable for providing an accurate vision of CHC GBU Inventories & Distributions costs for the current and future periods.

KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Is a member of site leadership team meetings / daily +QDCI meetings / S&OP meetings
  • Support and challenge the Operations (including Distribution Center) in achieving their performance targets by providing adequate financial performance measures and better understanding of financial variances.
  • Present financial forecast F0/F1/F2/Budget+2/Quarter Landing/Strat Plan
  • Train and develop his team members and insure appropriate information cascading.
  • Participate and provide information to business reviews with platform/region
  • Interact with GBUs (S&OP, inventories, COGS competitiveness) and other platforms sites
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of SPEs with specific focus on those above site thresholds.
  • Challenge volumes assumptions provided by Supply Chain (site & Global)
  • Lead Financial & Compliance training, drive financial communication to site operations teams.
  • Ensure reliable reporting according to IFRS and Sanofi policies
  • Coordinate internal control activities and ensure site readiness for Audits
  • Approve proposed Cogm related to sourcing cases
  • 3rd party contract management (financial aspects + coordination of admin process), Contract Authorization Form CAF
  • Set up validation flows for E-Delegation/E-Buy/Workday/etc. –
  • Back up to Manufacturing Business partner

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 10 years of combined professional experience within finance and/or accounting is required. Industrial Controlling and curiosity in that space is required to succeed on the position
  • Soft skills:
  • Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solver and proven experience working collaboratively and effectively across multiple internal/external stakeholders
  • Proven experience in partnering, counselling, and interacting with Senior Executive Leaders is required.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience leading business/operations transformations.
  • Experience is formally leading and/or leading a team is preferred
  • Education:
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required / MBA and CPA and related professional certifications are strongly preferred.
  • Languages:
  • Fluent in French and English
