Operational Excellence

  • Manage master data in various P2P tools where applicable.
  • Drive standardisation of master data processes in P2P MDM tools and SAP with relevant parties and coordinate deviations to these standard processes in compliant to controls requirements.
  • Responsible for improvement of P2P Asia China JPAC master data consistency in alignment to regional master data strategy.
  • Leverage operational experience and contribute to global/regional design of standard master data processes.
  • Understands P2P Master Data impacts to ensure proper governance over other master data-related projects or updates.
  • Proactively search for best practices and advise Project Lead as appropriate.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as regional subject matter expert regards P2P MDM and interface with global, regional, and country as required
  • Work collaboratively with internal business and function stakeholders including procurement, ITS and internal control.
  • Understand business and procurement priorities and strategy.


  • Process expert in P2P master data initiatives/projects to simplify and harmonise the processes.
  • Participate in or lead deployment of global and regional master data projects as needed.
  • Manage MDM projects through analysis, design, build, conversions, testing and go-live
  • Manage third-party partners and/or vendor relationships, as necessary.


  • Excellent understanding of master data management, governance, data quality and related tools.
  • Strong knowledge of the end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay operation process.
  • Capability to work in a regional organization with multiple internal stakeholders and external suppliers at global/regional level.
  • Work efficiently under pressure with little supervision, deliver high level of customer service and follow through with assignments meeting strict deadline.
  • Identifies issues or concerns and works with others to determine an effective course of action.
  • Ability to drive change, and instill change of mindset
  • Ability to think strategically but also be able to dive deep into operational problems where required.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)


  • Minimum Bachelor degree with 5-8 years direct work experience in Purchase-to-Pay (Procurement, Purchasing administration, Master Data Management) environment.
  • Experience in driving Master Data Management projects.
  • Experience in business analysis, requirements development, and solutions implementation, preferably in MDM.
  • Experience in working in a Global Business Services environment is a plus.
  • International background with exposure to multicultural environments is a plus.
