The role of Buscopan Western Europe Marketing Trainee for the Abdominal Pain category is suited for consumer-oriented, performance driven, communicative & analytical candidates who are passionate about consumer healthcare and want to be a contributor to drive short and mid-term executional excellence to make Sanofi become the best Fast Moving Consumer Healthcare company in & for the world.

For Western Europe, Buscopan has a high ambition of growth, and with countries like UK and Belgium quite often used as lead market for Global, it makes the activation plan very stimulating to work on and no chance to get bored.

For this role, projects and responsibilities will evolve upon support needed based on the 7 different market needs, but will start by focusing on supporting 2 countries launching for the first time a full brand activation: Spain and Greece. A great opportunity to learn about launches preparation, monitoring and optimisation.

This position evolves in a very dynamic & international team, with stakeholders in the 7 different markets and a large cross functional from Finance to Regulatory to Supply chain to Medical….

Key responsibilities

1/ Support developing & implementing consumer campaigns

  • Support in the development of creativities (TV, Digital etc.) & promotional materials (Project management: retro timing, briefing, rounds of feedbacks)

  • Supervision (download, changes, approval) of promotional materials in local and Health Authorities systems.

2/ Tracking & Analysis of sales

  • Tracking & Analysis of the market & competition

  • Tracking & Analysis of the media plans

  • Tracking and analysis of promotional actions.

3/ Participation in sales meetings

  • Define key messages, create presentations, and be able to present during the meeting.

4/ Build Transversal and External Relationships

  • Build working relationships with key local stakeholders and agencies developing a strong knowledge of market and business needs and ensuring clarity in communication.

About you

Requirements:

PLEASE NOTE: All suitable candidates should satisfy 2 eligibility criteria: Educational eligibility and Work Employment Authorization in the country.

In terms of education, candidates have to be either currently enrolled in studies (BA, MA, post-doc etc.) or have had completed their latest studies inside past 24 months.

In both cases, to collaborate with SANOFI Consumer Healthcare, it is necessary for your educational institution (university, technical school etc.) to sign an Educational Cooperation Agreement (Protocolo de Estágio) with SANOFI Consumer Healthcare.

  • Full-time availability (37.5 hours per week) and possibility to continue studying

  • Education:

Business School or Bac +MBA is a plus (ideally with focus on marketing).

  • Languages:

Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish & English with professional proficiency. Greek as a bonus.

  • Experience and specific knowledge:

    • Good level of MS Office applications (Excel, PPT essential)

    • Experience in FMCG / OTC company is highly valued.

  • Expected Professional competencies & Personal skills:

    • Proactivity, drive and excellence in the work delivered.

    • Result orientation and problem-solving.

    • Analytical thinking.

    • Project management (be able to organize & follow up projects).

    • Ability to adapt quickly to changing strategies and priorities
