About the Opportunity

As a Head of Sales within Consumer Healthcare (CHC) for UK and Ireland you will be responsible for leading the CHC Sales team, looking after all sales channels. You will be leading a team of 5 National Accounts Managers and an indirect team of 4 Key Account Managers. You will be responsible for building a roadmap to double the size of the business within the next 5 years. This role reports directly to General Manager of CHC UK and Ireland.

Key responsibilities

  • Drives vision of commercial strategies for UK and Ireland, looking after all sales channels.
  • Accountable for RX portfolio in close connection with Trade Team at affiliate level.     .
  • Leads, develops, monitors, controls and manages sales strategy and motivation to ensure efficiency and effectiveness at both distributor and National Account level above competition.
  • Builds and improves customer relations towards a positive company image and drive senior level customer facing and meetings. Focal point for Global Heads in structuring JBP with global accounts (WBA group)
  • Provides leadership and guidance setting ambitious revenue/brand distribution & market share targets.
  • Contributes to the local leadership team for the day to day running of the UK & Ireland MCO and accountable for the roll-out of MCO strategic roadmap

About You

To excel in this role you will need to have:

  • At least 10 years of experience within Sales. Marketing and Trade are highly desirable
  • Previous and relevant FMCG experience
  • Experience of working with Boots and Tesco (our key retailers)
  • Experience with commercial planning
  • Strategic thinking; Strong business acumen; Results oriented
  • Negotiation and Influencing Skills
  • Problem Solving skills; Analytical thinking
  • Strong Leadership skills
