The Marketing INTERN will support the execution of brand strategies for the Pain Care marketing team to deliver product and commercial innovation to consumers. As a global team, our internal clients are our Countries – and in this role, deploying global tools and resources, sharing best practices, as well as helping our markets reach their full potential the priority. In this role, the INTERN would be exposed to; consumer insights, communication campaigns, new product & platform development, shopper research and tools as well as, medical marketing, packaging, claims and promotions. They would also support country connections, forums, and analysis.

Main Tasks

  • Support Europe Pain Care Category Lead with major projects
  • Assist in sharing key learnings, facilitating country connection points (from monthly meetings, to workshops)
  • Lead a bi-monthly European Region Sharing session
  • Category and Competitor analysis ranging from financial reporting to sell-out performance in-market as well as web search, and media monitoring
  • Assist the Regional Category Activation Lead in market entry assessment for new products/segments
  • Support brand lead in Global/ country catch ups: agenda, meeting minutes & follow-ups

Profile

  • 1-2 years professional experience;
  • Ideally Junior/Assistant Brand Management experience within FMCG/CHC categories;
  • Business/Marketing degree qualified, preferably MBA;
  • English professional fluency mandatory.

Knowledge

  • Basic understanding and exposure to market segmentation, targeting, brand positioning, architecture, media strategy including digital, innovation ideation and planning, consumer insights and shopper strategy;
  • Experience analysing and drawing conclusions from large data sets
  • Basic understanding and exposure to financial principles.
  • Competent in use of Microsoft Office suite of software, including Microsoft Power Point and Excel.

  • Strong analytical skills with effective ability communicate data and provide clear recommendations;
  • Highly collaborative approach with effective negotiation and influencing skills to act for change;
  • Excellent project and event management skills with a focus on flawless execution.
  • Can-do attitude, pro-active
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal

Internship of 6 months

Location: Rotkreuz and also home office based
