Job Purpose

  • Perform business analysis to lead the market, monitor business performance based on revenue and market-share report, and evaluate ROI
  • Perform analysis for decision making and resource allocation
  • Project design and management for strategic planning

KEY DELIBERABLE/ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide insight to country Growth Hub Lead/Category Lead and Customer Hub Lead, based on business analysis, for;
    • Optimization of marketing mix
    • Sales force excellence
    • ROI
  • Provide clear, complete, and unbiased views by connecting insights obtained by financial, market and field-force data with business performance. Support activities, projects, internal meetings, and reporting activities involving other function and project teams by providing analysis of requested data and information in a timely manner.
  • Collect and analyse market data and business intelligence information effectively from other divisions, in cooperation with Growth Hub team, as needed, and then lead process to imply and suggest SSP’s strategic decision.
  • Design information gathering, analysis, assignment process and monitor the progress in strategic planning

Expertise of analysis

  • Provide valuable information to identify business opportunity and improve an ability to accurately predict.
  • Cooperate with experts of analysis to monitor and forecast dynamics of business environment and its change
  • Manage quality of data; understand the accuracy of the data for analysis, show any risks attributed to the accuracy, and improve the quality.

  • External: 3rd party data servicers, i.e., supplier of market data, household panel data.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above (Master’s degree in related area of the job or MBA is preferred)

Required knowledge and/or experience

  • Consumer Health Care of FMCG Business
  • Practical knowledge of management and marketing
  • Practical knowledge and skills of data analysis (both quantitatively and qualitatively)
  • Advance level of business skills; critical and logical thinking, problem-solving, flexibility and multi-tasking
  • Communication skills; fluent in English and moderate in Japanese
  • Project management skills

Preferred Background

  • Brand Manager or Category Business Lead in CHC
  • Trade Marketing Manager in CHC
  • COntorolling Manage in CHC.

Language skills

  • Moderate communication and presentation skills in Japanese, at both writing and speaking
  • Fluent communication skills in English, at presentation, at writing, speaking, and facilitating meetings
