Role & Responsibility

  • Contribute business growth by offering better service and optimizing financials by driving IBP (S&OP) each key step with key stakeholders
  • Lead demand planning and inventory optimization with team members to be accountable
  • Sales tracking and monitoring to assess service risks for recovery plan
  • Escalate supply risk, align sales allocation plan with sales team and deploy required reporting until recovered
  • 100% hands on - Non-People manager
  • Support head of SCBP and Head of Planning for entire operation management and process development

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Demand Planning – Key Brands

  • Based on sales consensus forecast, lead DRP (Distribution Requirement Planning) for manufacturing site and purchasing from CMOs
  • Ensure delivery of products as promised to offer stable supply to business
  • Support head of planning to lead key steps of IBP (S&OP)

2.NPD / Artwork Change

  • Lead project commercialization to ensure stable supply in market as planned and track actual sales and inventory risk vs launch plan

3.SKU Rationalization

  • Lead SKU rationalization analysis and alignment with commercial and finance team based on global guideline

4.Inventory

  • Update monthly inventory projection by what if scenario and plan actions to fill gap vs budget
  • Conduct annual safety stock review and define right coverage level of each SKU to align with commercial team

5.Excess & Obsolete

  • Highlight risks of E&O in the future and create mitigation plans in collaboration with the business team, manufacturing locations and local distribution team

6.Project Management

  • lead implementation of SAP and KINAXIS, demand planning tool as a stream lead working with super users in planning team and key stakeholders

7.KPI Management

  • Service Level, Inventory, write off provision, operating cost

Knowledge

  • Overall supply chain knowledge and Inventory optimization methods
  • IBP (S&OP) process
  • General FMCG market

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Project management
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills to manage stakeholders
  • Fluent in Japanese and English

Formal Education And/or Experience Required:

  • University degree or knowledge equivalent to it
  • More than 5 years’ work experience in supply chain
  • Working Experience in Pharmaceutical or FMCG
  • Experience using SAP

Knowledge and Skills Desirable but Not Essential:

  • Demand Planning Tool is Plus– KINAXIS, APO, Magnetics. etc.
  • Finance and basic accounting knowledge are plus
  • Manufacturing experience is plus
  • Working experience in international companies with matrix organization
