iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

PLEASE NOTE that applications that are only submitted in French cannot be considered by our non-French speaking partners at Sanofi worldwide.

We are looking for a candidate for a VIE mission of:

Business Intelligence Analyst for Global Regulatory Affairs - VIE Contract (W/M)

The VIE participant will be responsible for creating performance indicators and dashboards for Global Regulatory Affairs (GRA) operational excellence activities. The job will be based in Canada and dedicated to independently managing a wide range of key performance indicators (Quality/non-Quality, advertising promotional, Health Authority submissions) on the Sanofi portfolio of products in collaboration with stakeholders within the RA (Regulatory Affairs) management office, the region and country organization. Training and coaching on the job will be provided to the VIE in order to develop analytical insights and contribute to the performance of the RA organization.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop dashboards with key performance indicators (KPIs) in order to monitor RA performance
  • Utilize tools to find/distribute information in an easy way (automatic reports in Qlik Sense) in order to concentrate on analysis
  • Contribute to the success of the Operational Effectiveness team by providing accurate and reliable data insights, develop tools to support, advise and challenge the business, in order to make the right decisions to maximize the value of RA resources
  • Support to the strategic project to standardize methods for the definition of resources and capacity
  • Learn, apply and train others within the team on technological competency to capture configurations in prototype Qlik environment to transfer to development i.e. export “applications, sheets and scripts” to the designated files share (file formats QVSs - QlikView Script and QVDs - QlikView Data)

Candidate's profile:

  • Education: Bachelor or Master degree in Management, Business (Operations), Science, Engineering, Computer Science/Information technology, Management Information Systems or other relevant technical discipline
  • Experience: background in healthcare sector; experience in database management and business intelligence (BI) software and data visualization design, technique and tools, e.g., Tableau (a plus), Qlik (a must)
  • Soft skills: strong analytical and communication skills; proficient networking with stakeholders to retrieve/synthesize the source of information to deliver performance indicators based on business strategy; quickly understand the specificities of RA environment in the pharmaceutical sector; be organized and plan effectively to meet deadlines and commitments, work autonomously, proactively, and collaboratively with remote teams via email/Skype/Zoom video, be a positive and enthusiastic ambassador for performance
  • IT tools: MS Office, advanced knowledge of Excel is a must (including but not limited to: advanced functions, data validation, conditional formatting, analyzing large data sets, creating charts, and trends, array formulas, custom and power views) and PowerPoint; Qlick experience is a must; knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language), Python or VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) is a plus; knowledge of information systems oriented BI, and machine learning
  • Languages: fluent English & French, both spoken and written
